Terrible Food

Sail Date: May 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The food was terrible unless you are willing to pay to go to the onboard nice restaurant "Harrys". We ate at the ports of call whenever possible to avoid eating on the ship. Room service breakfast was probably the best of all the food. How can you go wrong with a bagel and coffee? It was my first and last cruise with carnival.

Pros: The ports of call

Cons: The Food

Recommends Carnival Liberty? No.

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
A bit outdated and tacky.
Food and Dining
Entertainment
The variety shows were ok, most activites you had to pay extra
Service and Staff
San Juan, Puerto Rico
This was the best. Lots to see, great food.
Don't Miss: The forts
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Not much to see , except for the shopping area around the port, which unless you are buying diamonds or liquor it's a waste of time.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Great water, but food on the island is provided by carnival.
Grand Turk Island
beach is nice. Margaritaville is nice too but a bit overpriced.
Don't Miss: margaritaville, and beach
