Review summary

We went on our own "tour of the ship", and, were amazed with every detail designed for each bar, dining rooms, theatre, spa and restaurants. We have sailed the Eastern Carribean on our own sail boat for years, and, always wanted to sail to the Western Carribean, but, we always ran out of time. Carnival cruise was a perfect opportunity for us, to see Grand Cayman and Mexico. It was quite nice having a captain, crew, and room service ... Carnival has us totally spoiled. The overall appearance and condition of the ship, appeared to look as though it was just launched.

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

We went on the jungle tour; saw a monkey swinging from tree to tree. Our tour included a beach break; it was nice going for a swim and relaxing in the white sand! Our tour director, kept us in stitches; he has a gift with the public.

George Town, Grand Cayman

We went on the tour of the turtle farm, "dropped in to Hell" for a visit, and, had an amazing adventure swimming with the sting rays. I was a bit relucant to "jump in" with the rays, but, once, I was there it was fabulous. My husband was feeding the rays, we even have photos kissing a sting ray. What a rush!!!

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

We took a taxi into Lucaya, looked at the shops, and, returned back to the ship. We didn't partake in any excursions

Pros: The variety of entertainment, excursions, food, bars and scenery.

Cons: Saying good bye to our wonderful sailing adventure!
