Review summary

Reliable, good service. Good dining room food with lots of variety. Lots of offerings of things to do. Friendly and helpful staff. A good value for the vacation dollar!

Embarkation

The actual time spent in the building getting bags xrayed, checking in, etc was minimal, But the wait time just to get a parking space was almost an hour. It was poorly managed with surly teenagers at the port issuing no communication except for pointing and yelling to move up! move up!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in the dining room for dinner every night. We had an unassigned dinner time and reserved a table on the Hub app. The wait time was never as long as listed, sometimes 1/4 of listed time. It worked out well for us.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We did not use the pool, slides or rock climbing wall. We did use the gym. Sadly, we had bad weather on sea days.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The production shows are pretty good! They are only 30 minutes long though so don't be late! The piano guy, Mat was amazing!! We also enjoyed trivia and won 2 trophies!!

Cabin / Stateroom

OK - so everything in common areas and hallways, stairs, dining areas, etc was pretty clean. The lower stars are for my stateroom and balcony. Balcony was absolutely filthy. #6189 ( we had two rooms) It needs a power wash terribly. The balcony deck was black and gummy, the glass was grimy and had paint chips sticking to it, railings were dirty and oily, the table and chairs had bird poop on them and the chairs were dirty and oily. This needs attention!!! Also our room could have used a deep clean. All counters were dusty and you could see the film when the light caught it. I cleaned all surfaces with cleaning cloths I brought.

Ship tip

The 6th floor mid ship is pretty quiet. We were on starboard side (which was the dock side in Baltimore but not the other ports). If you want to see docking action, choose the port side.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

Ugly, industrial, rude port employees. Only boarded here. No excursions.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We did the 10 best excursion and visited some sights by bus. We got out and shopped or walked around at several. The rum factory was my favorite stop. Some stops had too little time to do anything (Atlantis)

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
We did not book an excursion, only rented snorkel equipment. It was a tender day but we had good weather, so no issues. Perfect weather! not too hot and some moments of shade! Tons of beach chairs. You do not need to spend any $$ on this stop if you don't want to! Many people were upset that their drink package did not apply on shore. I would be too if I paid $500+ for it. I don't understand why they can't make this happen.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

We did the bike tour. It was a bit disappointing because the ride was on the hwy and quite industrial looking. We did stop at the Gardens which were nice. But the lunch options need to be improved. They were pretty basic.

Disembarkation

Super fast! We carried off our own luggage.
