Review summary

Enjoyed the cruise, food, service, plays, shows and stateroom was excellent. We have been on many cruises on many brands. We all like the Carnival ships since each is different with different interior theming. The Legend is excellent. The food was great and is mostly all free. My family did a cruise on the mega liner Wonder of the Seas and yes we did like it but overall felt it to be too big and crowded. There were lines everywhere and the smaller size of the Legend made it less crowded and we never had any lines or trouble finding a seat anywhere.

Embarkation

Easy to get on and off the ship. No lines.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was the best...and mostly free. The specialty restaurant was a nice treat also.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The pools were a bit cold at first when leaving Baltimore in the winter. The ship was decorated very well and everything was a joy to look at.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As usual the crew all did a great job. Everyone was friendly and helpful and were always cleaning.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
You can tell the ship is a bit older but it is kept up very well. It is not a mega liner but my family really enjoyed the smaller ship size. There are no lines waiting for food and always seats available at the shows.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was cozy and was always kept clean by our steward. Everything worked nicely just wished for a few more outlets.

I could not agree more. This is a fun cruise on a great ship. My kids had a blast as did the adults. We can't wait to try a different spirit class ship soon.
