On a side note, I am not sure how anyone could rate Half Moon Cay one star. Even if you had to pay for drinks, or didn’t like the picnic style lunch, the beach and water is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The one star rating for that port means this person is very hard to please.

I feel bad this person had a bad experience. I have been on the Legend and the Pride many times out of Baltimore and had a good experience every time. I always recommend people keep their expectations reasonable. Things are nice but not generally “elegant”, the kids and crowds do what kids and crowds do. Something always goes “wrong”, but never bad enough to ruin my week! New cruisers, please do not let a review like this turn you away. The vast majority of people I have cruised with had wonderful trips on the Legend/Pride.

Jerry and I were on the Legend twice last year for Journey cruises, and everything was great! Staff could not have been nicer. You seem to have a bad attitude.

For the price, it's a good deal. If you want something of a higher class then maybe try Royal Caribbean or Celebrity. We like the laid back atmosphere.
