Review summary

We found that the food was slightly better on this cruise than our previous Carnival Cruise. The weather was awesome only rained a tiny bit two days. It was very humid most of the days though and it was even difficult sometimes sitting on our balcony. That would probably be our only negative

We ate in the MDR every night but one. I found that the food was good and the service was pretty quick. It was just my wife and I had a table and we were in and out within the hour

We generally only used the aft pool and hot tub. The hot tub was warm most of the time. But none of the Jets worked in any of the hot tubs. Carnival said that it was due to health reasons why they did not turn the Jets on??

I think the spirit class ships have a great layout. Easy to use and very friendly for first timers. I realize the ships 21 years old but it really needs a little TLC

Cabin / Stateroom

Had quite a bit of room in our state room. My biggest complaint would be we put the AC all the way to the coldest when we left Baltimore and never touched it once in our cabin never got cooler than 73. We never complained about it because it’s a reasonable temperature although we usually like it 68
