Review summary

Overall we had an amazing time! Can’t wait to go again. My 7 year old wanted to get right back on. I will say this is the first time I noticed the boat rocking so much. Thank goodness for dremamine. The first full day was rough!!!

Embarkation

We got there earlier than our check in time- everything was moving smoothly and we got right on the ship no delays. The Baltimore staff was awesome and so friendly through the whole process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Favorite food was the blue iguana on lido deck!! The burrito bowl was my favorite! The deli was also amazing with the blt and turkey/Swiss combos!!! I was not the biggest fan of your time dining just because the wait times were so off and I just prefer being T the same table and same waiter every night. The staff on level 3 for restaurant were nice(we had one waiter who just was miserable one night). I prefer eating the breakfast in the restaurant vs the buffet. The first morning was very difficult trying to find a table to sit at. My fave bar was the lobby bar with Mr. T and Mr. C. They were the absolute best!!! The bonsai sushi was amazing- go and try. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food. I forgot to add- I did get the drink package . To me definitely worth it! I did not get it the last two cruises I was on and happy I got it this time.

My fave was the blt and turkey/Swiss. The deli was packed everyday!!! Large potion and tasted so good.

Onboard Activities

We did the pools first two days. It can get pretty crowded in the pool areas and there were a lot of people that laid towels across 4-5 chairs and I did not see them for a whole day. The last cruise I was on they were removed, however the staff didn’t remove the towels. Or I experienced the opposite I would go and swim and come back to lay out and people were sitting in your chairs and acted like they couldn’t hear you when you said something. The children’s splash zone was my daughters fave. We attended all the performances of the violinists- they were amazing and my daughter loved dancing in the lobby while they played.

Service and Staff

Everyone that we came across was very pleasant. We had Dan for our room steward and he was so great every time we came in contact. Only had one miserable waiter at dinner- he just was not personable or didn’t talk at all. Me. T and Mr.c in the bar were amazing. Blessing from pixels photo was awesome as well !!

Cabin / Stateroom

It was clean. Our handle for our balcony door fell off and Dan immediately came to have someone take care of it. We smelled the sewage smell a lot but expected. Overall our room was comfortable and made up everyday by Dan.

Ship tip

Have fun- talk to people that you come in contact with, give a compliment say hello- I met so many amazing people on this trip. Relax in the lobby listen to music or get involved and go to the shows!! You make your vacation what you want. Try all the food!!! Laugh and let loose and enjoy your time on the ship.

Ports of call

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Grand Turk was beautiful. I became engaged at this port!!! So it has to be a favorite!!! We went to jacks shack. 2 chairs and umbrella was 23$. As you make your way down that way be prepared to be asked a million times to sit at specific sections, or hair braiding . It was nonstop all the way to jacks. A lot less people at that end. Margarita area was very packed especially when a second ship arrive. Jacks shack drinks were good. Priced well, I did not like the jerk chicken as much as the shrimp.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

Always my fave stop. We rented clamshells and mats. Stayed in the water the whole time. The picnic was so good!! We had faster to the fun so we waited in follies theater. We sat in the last row and they would go row by row to empty out the theater.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

No excursions. We just shopped around. Some of the vendors were way too pushy and aggressive. It was actually annoying. I did find some to shops that just let me shop and didn’t become aggressive with you.
