Review summary

We enjoyed the cruise and it was a very relaxing experience. I would recommend going on this cruise, but would choose a week that was not a typical spring break week - as there were a lot of kids on the cruise.

Lines were too long to get through the port. Once on the ship things went very smoothly.

Food and Dining

The food in the main dining room was okay, but I had expected it to be better. We did do dinner once at the Seafood Corner, which was a real disappointment. Very slow and the lobster roll that I had didn't seem to have hardly any lobster - just mayonnaise and celery.

Onboard Activities

Pools were very crowded with kids. The main pool area had the fun music, but was too crowded with kids. The adult Serenity pool had boring dentist office music. but was nice not to have kids around.

Entertainment

The Epic rock show was really good. We enjoyed some of the musicians - particularly the White Lightening twosome.

Service and Staff

Jose did a great job as our room steward. Ariel was our waiter in the dining room and was very attentive and friendly.

We did the catamaran ride. Was fun and crew was friendly and safety conscious. The water was rough so we went to a different beach which was rather small.

We did the bike hike which was really good! The food on the island was okay but not great. Enjoyed the beach and bar and music on the beach.

Appreciate your detailed review. Spring Break seems to be longer every year. A good lesson to learn. Glad you enjoyed your cruise even if the star rating seems to indicate otherwise.
