Review summary

I always love Cruisin out of Baltimore. It is cold the first day and last sea days but was warm. The rest of the cruise in the Bahamas are always an excellent stops. Only had one issue when I returned I developed Covid, which is the first time ever for me. I did report it to Carnival, but they don’t do contact tracing Anymore. I believe they could do better with the cleaning like they did six months ago on the ship. But I’m still going to cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room food menu less variety except on dress up night. Did order steakhouse NY strip for$23 and was large portion and excellent! Chef table excellent 3 hours and selections. Steak house lamb chops great portion and taste and view. At sea brunch still good selections

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Serenity area small but hot tub nice and warm pool did not warm up until day 3

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Stage shows need updates Sea too ruff to do acts but did do show with singing and enjoyable Bar band and atrium violins great selections

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Dining service slower than usual especially your time dining and sea brunch

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Love lay out of this class On previous 2 cruises saw more cleaning of elevators, hallways, and general areas. This was disappointing This is better ways to stop germs 2 different elevators out of service most trip

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin clean Worse balcony view with lifeboat. Again they put pictures aa I’ve couch too low and hit head on frame all time. Light switch above bed and mirror in bathroom loose but told steward and fixed less 3 hours!

Ship tip

Keep checking excursions weekly and if has limited availability book it before filled. You can always cancel later!

I sailed on the Legend in Nov,27th, 2022. We really liked the ship and was easy to navigate. I did get Covid after returning home and was sick pretty much the whole month of Dec. Anyway,we are leaving Sunday Feb26,2023 on the Legend again. Hopefully we don't get sick again.
