A fun and relaxing cruise with some great port stops.
Embarkation

Parked at the port. Had arrival time of 1:30-2:00 got in line at 1:20. Luggage drop off lines took about 30 minutes to get through before getting into the parking lot. Porters were friendly. Terminal staff were very friendly and nice. From parked to onboard in about 20 minutes. Got on board at 2:10.

I can always find something to eat on a Carnival cruise. Between Guy’s, Blue Iguana, the Unicorn Cafe(buffet), and 4 sea day brunches I never felt hungry or disappointed.

Truffles Restaurant

Ate here everyday for breakfast and 5 out of the 8 nights for dinner. Servers were always hustling and did a great job getting orders out in a timely manner. Food that was supposed to be hot came out hot. Food was very good.
Lido Marketplace

You can hardly ever go wrong with Guy’s and Blue Iguana. My usual stops for lunch. Did the tacos for the first time at Blue Iguana this time and I think I have found a new favorite.
Pizza Pirate

Only ate here once because the lines were pretty long every time I passed by. The pizza was hot and fresh.
The Carnival Deli

Got the turkey sandwich on a pretzel bun and I loved it. Just wish the fries would have been hotter.
Onboard Activities

Did my first Carnival water slides on this cruise. The green one with the trap door was a blast! Wish it was longer. The yellow one was so slow I came to stop twice. I heard a young kid say the same thing later in the cruise. Oh well I got a laugh out of it at least.
Entertainment

Saw the 60s show and enjoyed it. Also saw comedian Jeff Shaw in the big theater. Have seen him in the past and absolutely love his show. His voice alone will make me laugh.
Service and Staff

Waitstaff in all the restaurants and eateries were great. Bar staff was friendly and fast. Our room steward Bisma was fantastic. I am always amazed with the staff’s attitudes being very pleasant and accommodating. Miss seeing their smiles though.

Had an aft facing balcony room and we really enjoyed it. The views were amazing. The balcony door didn’t seal all the way so there would be some wind noise. We brought a small fan so the white noise it created drowned out the wind noise from the door. There is only the one 120 volt outlet in the room unless you unplug the tv. But we still managed to keep phones and portable batteries charged with out any issue. Room was clean and didn’t have any odors. One closet door would squeak pretty loud when opening. Bed and pillows were adequate. We dealt with these small issues and they didn’t affect our vacation.
Wish they would fix the roads around the port. Some serious cracks and potholes on them. Love sailing under the suspension bridge on the way out and back in.
Just shopped here this time. Been here a few times so we just took our time. Long line to get off the ship though. Stretched from the forward stairwell all the way to the Truffles restaurant in the aft.
We did checked luggage, had luggage tag 6. Disembarkation started for express at a little after 9am. They started calling for self carry by deck number around 9:45, called deck 8 first. The first luggage tag group of 1-10 was called with self carry at around 10:45. We were loaded up in our car by 11:30.
