Review summary

Overall it was a great cruise. The one issue during disembarkation at Princess was a small thing that better communication could have alleviated BUT one monkey don’t stop the show! A wonderful welcome back to cruising. My last and first carnival cruise was a cruise to nowhere in 2008!

Disembarkation

Disembarkation at Princess Cay was a fiasco; very disorganized. The CD initially announced that those holding ANY excursion ticket would not have to pick up passes and they would be the first to go. Because of that, even though I only had the clamshell (which they confirmed was included) I didn’t get the pass when I could have been one of the first in line (I was very near very early in the morning) to pick one up. In total disarray, I ended up being one of the LAST off. Was told my clamshell wasn’t going anywhere and they took those with passes before they took the clamshells.

@Retired Ray This is one of the older ships so the food options were not as plentiful as some of the newer ships. With that being said the meals at the MDR were fantastic and the wait times were minimal. There is also the steakhouse, sushi restaurant and chef table for specialty options. Guys, Blue Iguana, the pizza place. The Deli, Seafood shack (extra cost) and buffet were the other options.
