Everything was very clean, some things can use an update but overall, gorgeous ship.

Grand Turk Island

This port was absolutely amazing! Very pleased with it, easy to get on and off the ship at this port, the excursion we did was a tour of the island and it was wonderful. Best beach I was ever at!

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

We were not thrilled with this island. It beautiful but the shuttles to get to the island could have been more organized and it shouldn't have mattered whether you were a VIFP member or not, if you had an excursion at a certain time, you should have been first onto the shuttle to get to the island. Although the excursions we chose were not great. We chose the paddle boats, which was a wast of time and money, we were out in the water for 10minutes and gave up, barely went anywhere and my seat kept falling back where I would have flipped backwards out of the boat. We also had the aqua bikes scheduled but decided not to even bother after watching others struggle on them.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

This port didn't need a shuttle which was great. The island was nice and the excursion we originally booked was for the site seeing tour of the garden of the groves, but we switched it to the Jeep tour, which was so much better and we ended up in the garden of the groves anyways. We got more for our money doing the Jeep tour.

Fairly simple, we carried out own bags off and were pretty much the first people off the ship.

If you think the Legend is big just wait till you try one of the newer ship, like the Dream Class. As for the tenders there is priority for excursion ticket holders, but this is limited to organized tours (not the self guided ones) and cabana rentals. Those will have instructions on the tickets or a letter left in the cabin about where to meet on board to be loaded first, even before the higher VIFP levels and suites, to the tenders as a group.

I was also on this cruise and it was my 1st time at Grand Turk and I absolutely loved it! Best snorkeling right off the beach!
