Review summary

Received notice the day before cruise itinerary changed from a 14 day to10 day cruise and not going to the Panama Canal or any original ports. Ready to get back to cruising so it did not matter. Our port of calls were St Maarten & Antigua. Did bus tour of St Maarten which was very informative. Walked around port area of Antigua I did not enjoy. Came home and booked next cruise with unspent compensation/refunds received.

We were allowed to stay in our cabins until they called our deck for disembarkation. One of the earliest. No standing in line or crowd.

The reason given, in the email I received from Carnival, “given the rapidly evolving COVID related circumstances around the world”. I live in Baltimore City, 15 minutes from the port. If I had to rebook airline reservation, not sure I would have gone.

I was on that cruise too. No explanation except Covid. Don’t know if a port was closed to us so they had to change itinerary. I am very disappointed that we were only given 24 hour advance notice of changes. We had already driven 6 hours to Baltimore and in hotel before we received notice of change.
