Review summary

Beautiful ship, would definitely cruise on this ship again. I liked the size. It would have been nice if the pools were ALL heated as the only one that was was jam packed with kids and with Covid I felt it was way too crowded to be safe. Also being the covered pool and indoors for the most part definitely made it feel risky. We found that the hot tubs were very full due to them being warm. It would have been nice if the under 12 crew were banned from the hot tubs since it was literally the only place adults could go in terms of warm water elements on the ship as the heated pool was packed. Overall loved this cruise, staff was fabulous other than Kate the arts and crafts person. Food was very good! Wait staff amazing!! CD great!! Can’t wait to cruise out of Baltimore again!! Thank you Carnival for a fantastic cruise!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room was nice. Gave a 4 star due to some meals not being up to par but overall dining was great. Food was great with exception of the broiled steak and pasta meals. The brisket and all ribs served were very good, fall off the bone good! Beef tenderloin and Turkey were excellent. Lobster Tails were probably the tiniest I’ve ever seen but since you can always order more no issues with that AND the lobster was very good. We skipped the specialty restaurants. The buffets were good overall. A few things we found flavorless but overall good. Desserts on lido were good overall. This ship did a great job with every cheesecake put out. Guy’s burger’s was our only disappointment in that they were never warm always cold. Blue Iguana was awesome! The BBQ on Half Moon Cay was terrible,

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Onboard activities were well run and fun overall. Stephanie from Iowa was hilarious with her silly jokes and made us really laugh. We loved her! Our CD was also wonderful! Kate the arts and crafts person whom we did crafts with on 3 occasions needs to find a new profession. She was rude to me and to others. You could not ask her questions and she was not a good instructor. She gave no guidance. We participated in dance lessons, bingo and trivia.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We have been on many cruises on several different lines and found the waiters and room stewards went above and beyond on this cruise! Our wait staff, Allan, Jeyson and Manila, were absolutely amazing. My daughter has food allergies and things were handled brilliantly. Our room steward Papas was also wonderful. Our only negative encounter was with Kate the staff member who did arts and crafts. She is definitely in the wrong profession. Witnessed and experienced her rudeness. Just not a friendly person. God forbid you want to ask her a question.
