Overall cruise was relaxing just as we had planned. Did not go into with a lot of details and expectations.its a vacation so just hang back and enjoy what you have got.

MDR was excellent had early dining table 221, Saw,Olga and Octavio were our servers,they always had a smile and a warm greeting and always had our drinks and bread waiting. Loved the different varieties of meals that you could choose from every night and saw made some great picks for,he got me out of my comfort zone and had me eating escargot and rabbit. I must saw I loved it all.
We dined in the steakhouse and it was just magnificent,the chefs special appetizer and the art at the table for the dessert was just a great memory. But the 18 ounce steak grilled to perfection and ladeled with melted butter!!!! Oh My God I had to order a not roll and wipe the plate clean because it was just so delicious. And the baked potato was even hot and tender.
We really did not do buffet except for a salad a few times,other than that we ordered pizza or had a Cuban sandwich. Finally tried the guys burger with fries,it was ok,ahh guess I should say it was good.
Onboard Activities

Stayed back in serenity area but the pool was closed for 90% of the time so could only use hot tub or go to middle pool for a swim. Was nice laying in serenity with no kids running around and screaming. Did have a few college drunks but they moved on.

Saw a few shows and was not overly impressed with female lead singer. Don’t know if her timing or voice was off but it was not a good choice of singer. The guys had it going on good timing and they sounded great. Robby who did karaoke and comedy club was and excellent choice.

The waiters ,bartenders,and just everyone I could physically see when they noticed I was looking at least gave a smile or a wave to say hello and never seemed irritated or in bad mood. Our room steward kept the room spotless and made sure wife had her towel animals everyday. He was nice enough to send time to get to know us and what we preferred and everything was just perfect.
Ship Quality

Love the design of the old girl. I seem to prefer small and mid class ships to larger ones and would sail legend every time. It just seems you have a better crew to guest ratio and not as many people runningver each other. The common areas around the bars and lounge areas were always being tidied up and wiped down quickly. The public restrooms were not the best but bless they’re hearts someone was always sweeping and mopping it and scrubbing the sinks.
Cabin / Stateroom

Was good but just wish air was a little cooler. Bathroom was fine ,no problem with water temp or reassure. Plenty of closet space and ample hangers,safe worked that’s always a plus. Fridge kept the drinks cold. Now to the aft extended balcony best balconies the ship.has more leg room and the best views on the ship.
Ship tip
Legend is one of the smallest ships of her class so it doesn’t have as many frills as the larger ships but legend can handle her own. She has the nicest crew the best chefs some of the best theater performers. The officers are courteous enough to ask if you are enjoying yourself or how can they make it better.bets advice you will ever get!!!! Here it is. Don’t plan ahead to do this and do that. Don’t set your self expectations that this is going to happen and this is what we need to do. It’s a ride n a beautiful ship for seven days. The only thing you should expect is to get it of bed grab some breakfast go to the serenity pool and jump in the pool lay in the chair and order a bucket full of red stripe and repeat as necessary.
Always use Jolly Roger Snorkeling company whenever we come to Roatan,nest waters and longest time to snorkel. Plus when the snorkeling is finished it’s free buffet and all you can drink on some serious stout rum punch. If that’s not your thing they have full liquor bar and beer ,water coke.
Spent time on beach and had fried grouper and Cerveza.worth every penny. Did a little clothes and souvenir shopping had to find a cigar factory so I could get some legitimately fresh Cubans to buy and take home.
We just walk around utsde the pier area and talk to the locals and eventually get a taxi driver to drive us around the area for a few hours and they are very cheap and super informative. They will gladly take you to the real mom and pop restaurant for some real cooking.
Went snorkeling with an excursion company and enjoyed a few different reefs and a ship wreck. Capt and crew were knowledgeable and friendly. Would do it again.
Was missing one bag when we got off ship. Took a few minutes to find it but as soon as it was located luggage porter threw all are bags n cart and zipped us right by customs and into the parking to our waiting ride. So altogether would say by the time our section was called and found our bag no longer than 15 minute from ship to our ride. No problem.
We sailed on the Legend once to Alaska and will be sailing her again to Bermuda. Totally agree with your review of the ship based on our last cruise on her. And happy to hear that she's still just as wonderful for our 2021 cruise.
