Overall, this was subpar and I'm surprised. The staff/entertainment seemed to be, "the B squad."

Fitness center was great! I loved the multi-level set up, and it had a bigger selection than expected.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The performers were highly disappointing unfortunately, and I've never felt that way about a cruise. Some other cruisers and I were actually wondering if it was their first time ever performing. The band who played in the Red Frog is the only reason I gave two stars here instead of one.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
There were a select few who stood out in the dining room, but the room steward was again, very disappointing. He definitely didn't remember our names until about the second-to-last day and called me by the wrong name once.
As for the good ones! Senorita - hostess in the dining room was by far, the best person you have on the Legend payroll. Promote that girl! She remembered myself and my boyfriend's name from the first time she saw us, and would go out of her way to make sure we had everything we desired. She is so great and made me look forward to seeing her every time for the majority of meals.
Menchie - also hostess in the dining room and also fantastic. She is another one who if you didn't promote, would be doing a disservice to your company.
Paulo - Asst. Team Waiter in the dining room. He was hilarious and seemed to actually love his job. Great work!

Cabin / Stateroom

I would have given this a 5 star because I loved the balcony and surprising space for a cabin, but I got super bitten up by bed bugs. They must have come up from the crack in the middle of the two twin beds as I woke up sort of sunk in there the last night. Please make sure you clean that out for the next people!
Man... Belize has so much promise as a country but did not come off as a tourist destination to me. It's broken and people look like they're living in poverty. We took a bus 1.5 hours one way to the Zipline in the Tiger caves. The guide was great and knowledgeable, but there was no thrill factor.
After just ending our 70 th cruise on carnival since 1977. I have to admit that the food and service. Has gone down hill , but , breakfasts are still great , and the room stewards used to do 30 rooms , then moved up to 35 rooms , and as of the latest cruise they are averaging 53 rooms do to carnival cut back on help .
