Overall enjoyed the cruise. The staff is super friendly and efficient. Will definitely cruise Carnival again!

Extremely efficient. Everyone was extremely nice and engaging.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Rationing the bacon and meat during breakfast slowed the line down dramatically on the Lido deck. The wait at Truffles was extremely long. Service was good but wait was way too long. Food quality at the buffet was good. The service wasn't great and at times hard to find clean tables.

Entertainment

The String Trio Polaris was unbelievable. We saw them every day. It was our favorite entertainment on the ship.
Service and Staff

Our room was always clean and tidy. Ismail was great and engaging. He did a fabulous job!
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The layout was fine and accommodating. It is an older ship so it just shows a lot of wear.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room seemed very congested. It was stuffy and heated up if we both showered near the same time. It was hot and humid. It was hard to get ready to go out when sweating. We had to call and have them check the AC. She said as long as it was under 74, they wouldn't do anything. It was right at 74 degrees. That is a bit hot to try and sleep as well. We also struggled with the TV. It was difficult to get it to work. The channel availability was also an issue. Only CBS news, which is fake news. We'd rather have a different option of more unbiased news source like FOX. Shower was very good.
Ship tip
Book your excursions early because many of the good ones sell out. Don't plan to spend any time in your room as it is very stuffy. Eating at the buffet area is way better than Truffles restaurant. Impressed with alcohol prices onboard compared with Royal Caribbean. See the String Trio Polaris if they are on the ship. They were the highlight of our cruise.
Not crazy about Grand Cayman. Traffic was insane there. We did the Sea Turtle excursion and really enjoyed seeing the operation. You don't have to stay long to see it all.
We didn't do an excursion there so we had limited access to see the area. The next time we go, we would do an excursion as we would like to see what Honduras is really like, not what has been created for cruisers.
Loved the Xixantunich Mayan ruin outing. If we went back, we would do another excursion because Belize didn't seem like a place we would just wander around and take in the local culture.
Cozumel was by far our favorite place. We didn't do an excursion but explored on our own and talked to many of the locals, shopped in local shops, enjoyed authentic food. As a whole, it was the best spot. We would likely do an outing the next time we go.
