If you are hoping for a relaxing week, this cruise is perfect. If you want lots of activities, shows, gambling, and clubs, this cruise is also perfect. You can do as little or as much as you want, and still have a wonderful time. Everyone me met was so nice. This is why we cruise.

Food and Dining

We ate in the main dining room twice on this cruise, and both times our waiters were wonderful and the food was really amazing. The rest of the time, we ate at the buffet and really enjoyed the selections offered. We could even have items made-to-order! We have absolutely no complaints about any of the food on this cruise.
Onboard Activities

Although we didn't participate in most of the activities, everyone who did seemed to be having a wonderful time. If we were younger, I'm sure we would have been in the group that voted the activities A+.
Entertainment

We did not attend the comedy club or stage shows, but we loved, loved, loved the violin players at the lobby bar, and the musicians in some of the lounges in the afternoon and early evening. Such talented people!
Children's Programs
We are seniors and did not travel with any family members. That being said, the children we saw were having a great time.
Service and Staff

We were in an Aft Balcony Room (7300), and our room steward, Purna, was the friendliest, most attentive and helpful gentleman we have encountered on a cruise. He was always ready to help us and get us anything we needed. Our waiters in the Dining Room, Oliver and Agus were friendly and polite and gave excellent service. Because of an issue with our luggage, we spent quite a bit of time at Guest Services. The people there were so very helpful and did everything they could to ensure we still had a great time. We couldn't be happier.
Ship Quality

While I thought the ship's decor was a little "different," it was so clean and well-maintained. All Carnival Cruise ships remind me of Las Vegas casinos, and this one was no different. I love the glitz and glam!
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin seemed unusually small to us, but the balcony was fabulous, and everything was clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and soft and WARM.
Ship tip
Don't listen to all the negativity in some of the reviews you read. Some people always find something wrong. I realize you can't please everyone, but they certainly do try to make everybody happy!
We just walked around in port for a short while. We did not go on any excursions. We got our Movados here in the BWI about 15 years ago while on a Carnival Cruise. It is a lovely little island.
By far, my favorite island. The lushness of the island and the beauty of the "mountains" was breathtaking. I plan on visiting Isla Roatan again. I can't believe how clean everything was.
Reminded me of Jamaica. Pushy vendors, lots of noise and crowds. The town of Belize City is certainly not what I expected. We have friends who want to buy a winter home there and are trying to get us to do the same. After seeing it, our answer is NO THANKS! We'll take Roatan or Cozumel anytime, instead. We did take an excursion to the Monkey Sanctuary, which was quite pleasant after another traveler let us use her bug repellent! Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
We have been here many times, and really like Cozumel. Prices are great here and everyone is sure to find a treasure or two. We did not take an excursion this time, but last time we visited, we took a jeep trip to the Lighthouse and Mayan Ruins, which was wonderful.
I deliberately took number 17, so we would get off the ship after 9:00 am. We were in our car and on our way home by 9:30. Disembarkation couldn't have been easier. Hint...If you are elderly, as we are, be sure and get a porter to help you. It is sooooo worth it!
Thank you for the positive comment. I was on legend in Alaska last May. Had a great time and would definitely sale on legend again. I’ve been on three carnival cruises and all Carnival employees have been amazing
