Christmas Cruise

Sail Date: December 16, 2012

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Definitely worth the price - Will consider the same cruise again - Carnival's prior perks for repeat travelers are not there any more and other areas reflect cost containment to keep the cruise price as reasonable as possible, but the overall feel of the ship suited us perfectly and provided a true difference from the deadlines and pressures of the normal work environment.
Ship Quality
Slightly older ship, but well kept up and comfortable
Food and Dining
Nothing to write home about. The food on the Lido deck is often better than in the dining room
Cabin / Stateroom
Normal Carnival whistling balcony door when the wind is from the other side of the ship.
Service and Staff
First line staff were all very friendly and helpful
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
Did not take any tours as we have been to all destinations one or more times in the past
Cozumel, Mexico
Cozumel is Cozumel - 5th time there
George Town, Grand Cayman
Tried something new this time - Rented a car an did our own island tour
Belize City, Belize
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Absolutely beautiful place to relax and enjoy the stop
Tampa, Florida
Good port and efficient handling of passengers getting on and off the ship - Vastly superior to Canaveral
