Review summary
Our ship was "fogged" out of Tampa Bay and about 10 hours late getting to the pier for boarding. Carnival was very accommodating; crediting our account for lunch, dinner and the first day's gratuity. This was our first vacation with Carnival. What started slow, turned into a very enjoyable vacation. Ship's staff was very nice and always available when we needed them. They were not pushy. The dance/vocal troupe was very good and the comedy club was the HOT ticket every night. The "adult" deck was called Serenity. It was a great place to go for some quiet time. We snorkeled at each stop. Water was amazing, reef beautiful, and fish were plentiful (for viewing). When we returned to Tampa, we chose to self-disembark. If you have limited sizes and amounts of luggage, you may be among the first to disembark. Anyone who has spent the morning in the theater or at one of the many other places passengers wait onboard, should appreciate this perk.Ship experiences

Ship tip
Forward is probably quieter for sleepling in. Aft is adjacent to crew's work areas. Look at the deck map and pick your stateroom based on what is above your deck and inboard of your stateroom.
