Review summary

Ship was very clean and well maintained all week. Everyone we came in contact with on the ship was helpful and happy. Our cabin steward, Su, was exceptional! He greeted us every day with a smile and how are you doing. He couldn't have done more for us all week. The ports were great. Not as scary as some reviews said they were. Embarkation and debarkation went very smoothly with personnel on hand to help with questions.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Buffet food was good during the entire cruise and it was plentiful. Never got board with breakfast or lunch choices. Pizza was good. We loved the choice of dining whenever we wanted to in the evening. We didn't have to wait at all. Food in dining room was excellent as were the desserts. Food choices were great and was wide variety.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Lots of activities every day. You can do as much or as little as you want. Variety of activities was great - some for older adults, some for younger crowd.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was always friendly and ready to help. They really doted on my senior mom. Brought her food in cafe and helped her carry food on several occasions without even asking. Dining room hostesses always stopped at our table to ask how we were doing and to ask how our day was. "Wee Jimmy" is a great cruise director. Loved his accent!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Kept very clean all week. Staff couldn't have worked harder. All areas were easy to access and were beautiful. The ship sparkled! Loved the over-the-top decor! Adult pool could be slightly larger.

Cabin / Stateroom

We stayed in balcony suite on deck 6. Was large enough to accommodate 3 adults comfortably. The balcony was excellent! 3 deck chairs along with 1 chaise lounge. Really added to the space of the room. Cabin steward, Su, was excellent! Bathroom was nice with double sinks, lots of storage throughout.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

Rained here. Most excursions were cancelled. Our tour to stingray city was not. Had a great time! Rain stopped once we got to sandbar. New boat and tour company, They were great. Staff was very knowledgeable about stingrays and made sure that everyone got to hold and kiss the rays. Very accommodating to everyone. There was bar and bathroom on board the boat. Highly recommend this tour.
Don't Miss: Stingray City

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Wished had more time at this port. Didn't do an excursion, but visited the shopping area at Mahogany Bay that Carnival built. Very clean and friendly. Liked Fat Tuesday's and the view from their balcony. This area could be livened up a bit with local musicians and more local vendors. Overall, very nice area with beach and shopping.

Belize City, Belize

5 out of 5
Did snorkeling excursion to reef. Great staff on boat. Lucio was tremendous - he was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on Belize and surrounding islands. Water was a bit cloudy, staff kept apologizing. Still saw lots of fish and coral. Great time!

Cozumel, Mexico

Didn't do any excursion, but shopping area by dock was great! Lots of shopping opportunities and entertainment. Nice little beach area. Everyone encountered was very nice. Very clean.

Pros: Food, activities, excursions, room

Cons: Not enough time in Roatan; Mahogany Bay shopping area too quiet, nothing going on.
