Review summary

The crew was above and beyond my expectations. Everywhere you turned, someone was asking if you needed anything. I expected there to be more swimming areas on board, but there were only 2 small general use pools that were constantly full of people, standing room only. The adult only space on ship was fairly small as well and there were lots of couples on board that were very affectionate with each other in the adult only pool space. The on board entertainment was fun, lots of options such as magic shows, dancing, singing, comedy, etc. The only negative experience was with the spa. My travelling companion and I decided to get massages on the first full day at sea and she was treated very poorly by the staff. She was taken into the room late and only got a 40 min massage but still had to pay for the full 50 min. Also, she asked for focus on her back and got 25 min of scalp massage. Other than that experience, the entire trip was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

truffles dining hall was absolutely fantastic. Wait staff very friendly and courteous. Fast seating despite not having a specified dining time. Buffet was good and there was 24 hour pizza.

Crew was from all around the world. All spoke excellent English. They seemed to all come with a postive attitude and aimed to make it the best trip possible.

ship was always clean. Amazingly decorated. Felt like a small city.

Cabin / Stateroom

Rooms were small but what I expected for a cruise ship. The rooms were also very quiet at night which was a plus. The staff went above and beyond again with the turn down service. Every night after dinner you would enter your room and the towels would be arranged as a different animal and the room was cleaned again for the second time that day.

Ports of call

Belize City, Belize

We had heard the snorkeling was not to be missed here. First, the cruise ship can't be docked due to the reef so there is a lengthy tendering process to get you to shore. Just note that there is a time difference when booking your excursions. while you stay on boat time, the port is on their time. this caused us some confusion. the excursion itself was good and the snorkeling was great. However, it was another hour small boat ride from Belize port to get to the snorkeling spot. We didnt really feel like we got to experience Belize because we didn't see anything but the shoreline.

Cozumel, Mexico

I have been to several areas in Mexico before but never to Cozumel. We decided to take a taxi to a public beach resort, Mr Sanchez. Overall, it was a good day. Quick taxi ride costing $15 each way and free admission to beach. They offered food and drinks for a cost at the beach but the use of the beach chairs were free.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Honduras is absolutely breathtaking. We did a zip line tour through jungle and followed it with a swim at Rum Point Beach. Both were fabulous! Save some time for the shops at port. They were by far the most interesting and fun to look through.

Everyone here was friendly and spoke English as their first language so that made it easier. The country itself is very beautiful and clean.

Don't Miss: Swim with the sting rays. It is something that you will never forget and definately dont want to miss

Pros: great ports, wonderful food, fun entertainment
