Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I would rate the Steakhouse as above average or excellent, however. In general, the Lido deck was pretty good for the casual part of dining. Space was a bit cramped and hard to find a table during "rush hour".

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Kids had a great time at Camp Carnival! Professional pictures were very good - the photographers were patient, funny and professional.

Children's Programs

Kids had a great time and met some new friends.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Our stateroom suite was smaller that expected - but we warmed up to it and found it fine for the trip. Service was very good with our cabin stewards. Amenities were a very nice touch! Space was ample for storage and our location was great - except for the guy next to us who took the opportunity to smoke cigars constantly on the deck (blew right into our room and made us all sick). I would suggest that cruise ships allow smoking on the balconies only when the ship is moving quickly along or not at all. There were warnings about this causing fires, so I wonder why they still allow people to smoke around staterooms and on private balconies. Create a smoke room on the ship equipt with cigars and smokes and let people go there to enjoy a smoke instead of the rest of us breathing it all in.

Swimming with Dolphins and watching them play was a BIG TREAT!
Don't Miss: dolphin encounters!

George Town, Grand Cayman

Stingrays swim on the sandbar was MAGICAL! The turtle farm was FANTASTIC! Wish we had more time at this port.
Don't Miss: stingrays and turle farm

Belize City, Belize

Tour guide for Altun Ha and City Tour was very good. Would recommend this for kids 6 and older - our 4 year old had fun but was a handfull there during the lectures.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Wonderful time at the beach...

Pros: The excursions - swimming with stingrays and dolphins and holding turtles

Cons: cramped spaces and pools - smaller boat than other cruises
