Review summary

The staterooms were just the right size with excellent showers, beds and closet space. The entire staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and the ports were all very nice. It was a real joy to make this cruise. It was our first time and it could not have been a better choice for our 35th anniversary. We will do this again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
For the amount of food that had to be prepared each day the quality was far superior to any restaurant you would normally visit. It was served warm and fresh and the area was always clean.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All the shows were great, very well done and the comics were funny. We enjoyed all the shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The entire staff were super. During our time on ship we had everything answered that we needed. My only reason for not giving an excellent rating is the debarkation instructions were contradicted from one staff member to another. We could not get a straight answer about the cruise directors instructions from the customer service staff. Although it worked out the stress level was very high.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was always very clean, and the decor was superb. The staff was right there if anything was spilled or dropped. We were very impressed.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The sateroom fit ours needs perfectly. Although the beds were a little firm for my taste we slept well and all of our needs were met. Our porter cleaned the stateroom twice a day weather it was needed or not. He always had a smile and a kind word. He worked hard and was very friendly. But I would not have a room without a balcony. It's a must for me. (we did have one, it was great).

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We booked an seperate excursion with Victor Boden tours. It cost about half as much as the ships excursion and it was awesome. We saw the entire city (good and bad) th schools, shops, rich area and poor area. We also did the zip line tour with Boden tours and it was the best thing we have ever done.
Don't Miss: If you go here you must use Boden tours and do the city tour and zipline excursion. IT's a MUST!

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Someone gave us a bit of wrong advise...not the ship or the curisesonly staff, a friend told us to do the pirate ship. I felt it was more geared towards the kids. Even thought this port was beautiful, we may have missed a better excursion.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
This port was super. We did the stingray excursion and had a great time. The water was a pure blue and clear.
Don't Miss: I would say swim with the dolphins is a must.

Belize City, Belize

We got off at this port and stayed inside the confined area. If you want to shop and eat and drink it's great. No beach area to speak of and it is pretty dangerious to go outside of the security area.

Pros: The people were all so helpful and friendly. And of course the food was excellent.

Cons: Boarding and unboarding seemed to take a long time. It was not very organized.
