Review summary

The Carnival Legend did not measure up to other cruise lines and cruise ships we have been on in the past 15 years. The ship was worn looking, our cabin smelled of vomit and our cabin steward compensated for it by sprinkling coffee grounds around the room to mask the odor of vomit. The food was mediocre at best, as was the entertainment with the exception of the first comedian, Happy Cole. The cruise director, Wee Jimmy, was terrible and both he and his staff need a crash course in organizing events.

The dancers and female singers did a good job. Not so for the male singers.

Harris, our head waiter and Melvin, our cabin steward tried their best to make the best of a bad situation.

The layout was easy to learn. The buffet area on the Lido Deck was difficult to manuver when attempting to get coffee and other beverages. The main theater was small and difficult to get from one level to another.

Bring your own pillow if you like firm pillows. They only have down or microfiber pillows on board. If you like a firm pillow bring your own.
