7 Night Exotic Western Caribbean (Tampa Roundtrip)
Sail Date: December 02, 2007
Ship: Carnival Legend
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Large Group
Reviewed: 7 years ago
The ship is the largest vessel I have been on yet. It was very clean and easy to learn. The staff was outstanding. Carnival has come a long way with the embarkation/debarkation process. It was extremely organized and so easy. I also really enjoyed the port of Tampa. So far, the easiest port to get in and out of. It never seemed to be terribly congested and it was close to the airport and hotel.

We went to the beach for the afternoon and then shopped. Shopping in Gr Cayman is probably better than average

There is good shopping in port and the Wet Lizard is great for food and a beer
Don't Miss: Cave tubing! We went through Cave-Tubing.com and it was awesome!

We went to the beach for the day-the people at San Francisco beach were bending over backwards for us-we were a group of 15 and had a ball.
Don't Miss: the Beaches

The beach at West Bay was beautiful. The only annoying part was the locals trying to sell merchandise. They did not leave you alone even after you bought once.
Don't Miss: Zip lining and West Bay Beach

Pros: I loved the stateroom, balcony, service

Cons: I think the food in the dining room could be a little better-and of course it always seems a bit overdone especially the seafood because it is probably prepared quite some time in advance.
