Ship: Carnival Legend

Cabin type: Balcony

Traveled as: Large Group

Review summary

The decor was really outdated. There wasn't much to do on the ship unless you were drinking or liked to play trivia and bingo all day. The food was okay, but not what you would expect. (I expected much better quality - the scrambled eggs were even milky and runny).

Snorkling was a blast and this was the best shopping by far. There were neat wooden items and everything was negotiable.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Had a wonderful time! We hired a taxi and went to see the island. Our driver was great and let us do what we wanted to do and took us to a whole bunch of neat places not on the normal tourist stops.

The shopping was okay. Tulum was really hot, but really neat to see. The guide was very knowledgeable. Bring an umbrella.
Don't Miss: Tulum

Cave tubing was the most awesome. We had the best guides and saw the most beautiful places along the way. Shopping was horrid. There were basically no shops to go to there.

Pros: The staff was very nice.

Cons: Some of the other passengers were a nightmare at times - drunk & rude

Recommends Carnival Legend? No.
