Great Itinerary

Sail Date: January 01, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Loved the eight night duration. Three ports (Costa Rica, Belize and Panama)) and plenty of sea days. Time to re-charge between ports. Shows were excellent, wait staff was some of the best we have ever had. Pizza, Deli Bar were great as always! Dining Room food was not the best we have had on a Carnival Ship. We did not try the supper club on this trip but it did look appealing.

Pros: Loved the itinerary and 8 night duration

Cons: Food was mediocre

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!

Food and Dining
Food was not the best we have had on a Carnival ship. Still had plenty of choices though.
Ship Quality
Not my favorite layout. Dad and Jr. had no trouble getting around but Mom had some trouble navigating the food stations on lido deck because they were spread out.
Cabin / Stateroom
We usually get a Cat 11 room but opted for the balcony this year. Major difference in closet space and room to move in bathroom area. All depends on what you feel like spending. Blow dryer needs to be in bathroom instead of top drawer of vanity. Very akward set-up.
Service and Staff
All wait staff was friendly and service was excellent. Stateroom steward anticpated all of our needs ahead of time. One of the best ever!
Entertainment
Fun as always. If you can't find something to do on a Carnival ship- it must be you. So many things to do and not enough time to do them!
Colon, Panama

Don't Miss: Panama Canal Tour.
Puerto Limon, Costa Rica
Took all terrain vehicle into the rainforest. Costa Rica is a don't miss port! Beautiful country.
Belize City, Belize

Don't Miss: "Discover Scuba Tour" Belize has world's second largest barrier reef.
