Review summary

The ship is older but very well cared for. The captain was very visible in the dining room, cafeteria and at the evening performances. This was a much better Carnival cruise than we had previously experienced.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was great, elevators worked very well

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Carnival has the nicest staterooms

Ports of call

Fort-De-France, Martinique

1 out of 5
For such a large island with large population there were very few excursions offered. Must be that Martinique doesn't welcome tourits.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

3 out of 5
It was a holiday and very little open

Bridgetown, Barbados

3 out of 5
We arrived late as we had to return to St Maarten for a fellow passenger who had taken ill

Pros: Everything about the ship has improved since our last cruise on her in February 2006, mush better food and entertainment.

Cons: The fighting at the two tables next to us
