Review summary
We paid significant amount of money hoping to get the best in class service but unfortunately it is below average. I have travelled in many other cruise lines Disney, RCCL, Princess; I would rate this journey the lowest of all. First of all, they did not deliver my bag to the room and after visiting guest services 4 times, they told me they put my bag on hold due to some new scanning rules. Well - apparently they forgot to notify us that they put this bag on hold. The food options are really limited. There is almost no choice of desserts in the buffet as well as formal dining. The servers in the breakfast area seem extremely rude and lie to your face (I have many examples; can’t write them all). The only reason I would give it a one star is because of the nice room service person - Raymond. I have him a very generous tip for his understanding and help to locate my luggage. The overall management is very poor. There are lack of good hosts. Everywhere there is only one person hosting the shows - the cruise director. At some point it became really boring as we saw her on every stage. All they know is how to suck money out of customers for all add-ons. I would probably never go in carnival again unless I pay half the price of what I paid for it :-)Embarkation
