Review summary

This was my first cruise ever. Overall I really enjoyed it. I would definitely do it again, but with some smarter money choices!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth process. We showed up early and glad we did because there wasn’t much wait to get to go onboard. Boarded well before our time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was really good, but lines get long quickly. The seated dinner dining was great and had different options every night.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Onboard activities are plentiful and fun. There are many pools but with over 5k people on board they stay pretty full. The rope course was tons of fun. Only 4 stars because the bolt costs money each time you ride it, feel like it should be included in the price.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were great and Kendal Fire is a wonderful host who kept the fun going. The piano bar was a favorite, Ben was hilarious.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service and staff were great. Our Stewart Adhi was amazing and made the cutest animals :) our dinner server Romiel was amazing and helped me get a shot glass when the shops were out of them. Kendal Fire is the best cruise host. She was hilarious and kept the fun going.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Bathrooms were constantly clean never any issues anywhere on board. Very clean on the rest of the ship as well. The layout of the ship is great, only improvement I would recommend is AC in the elevators.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
For an inside cabin it was plenty space and kept very clean. The AC didn’t work as well as I’d like but it is the heat of summer. Also, hot water is a hard thing to come by with 5k people on board. Learn to shower at strange times lol.

Ship tip

One tip I would give is bring plastic bags to put over your luggage if you are walking on the ship with them. It was raining quite a bit when we got off!

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

4 out of 5
I don’t really care for Galveston the city, but the embarkation employees were nice and effective.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

4 out of 5
The excursion we went on was nice, but the city is very small and there are no speed limits so make sure you get a reputable driver! Haha! The cruise beach is big but gets overcrowded fast I suggest booking a private beach excursion.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
The Chankanaab Park was amazing. My top recommend excursion. I bought the manatee package, but got access to the whole park for the day. You can scuba, snorkel, swim with dolphins, massages, and more. Very close to the boat as well.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
The private beach excursion is the only way to go if you want a beach day. It was relaxing, included drinks, and food was reasonably priced. $20 massages were on the beach and they were great as well. A very small port but had a good time.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Getting off the ship was a breeze.
