Review summary

Had a good time seeing beautiful places, amazing staff, and great shows. Terrible boat design, over crowded, smaller cabins, and smaller elevators with no AC. Not built for 6k+ people

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Buffets was okay, not enough space or tables to accommodate 6k people. A lot of the food lack flavor and seasoning.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The activities were great. The planning for the activities was extremely poorly planned. Fitting hundreds in a tiny bar that only seats about 70 people.

Entertainment

Amazing all around

Children's Programs

My boys loved all the activities they had to offer

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service is always on point, never had a poor experience on any the 5 carnival cruises.

Ship Quality

Clean

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Cabin was always clean, the jubilee made the balcony rooms smaller. You can not sit comfortably on your balcony with 2 chairs, the door will not open. The breeze you did not have to play Tetris on your balcony just to open the door.

Ship tip

Avoid spending at the port. Cozumel prices are 2x high then Galveston with taxes.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Beach is beautiful but everything is overpriced. The restaurant is more expensive than ones back at home. 1 order of chicken strips and 1 order of wings was $45.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

2 out of 5
Again beautiful beach, but the alcoholic drinks you pay for have little to no alcohol in them. They are also $20+ a drink

Cozumel, Mexico

1 out of 5
Mr.saunchos is the only reason to visit Cozumel. Their prices have quadrupled, a small stuffed animal $32, no thank you. T-shirts $20+, 2 margaritas at 3 amigos $27. Bottle of Baileys was $32, the same bottle at spec in the USA is $12. No point to be priced gouged.
