Review summary

Overall, with excursions, this was a very good cruise. The food was good and the entertainment was outstanding. It was grear for family get togethers but it felt crowded. If you wanted to eat at the included restaurants, there were long waits. I think at least some soft drinks should have been included.

Embarkation

Amazing smooth despite crowds. Finding a food place to park and get shuttle to the ship in advance, helped.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was generally very good. There were good options and food was delicious. I think some soft drinks should have been included. There was a pay per soft drink option and water, coffee, sweetened lemonade and tea were included. While it makes sense from a business standpoint- some gratis drink s would be a classier way to handle it. We did not eat in the specialty restaurants since we feel food is part of what you already paid for. If we want to pay extra for specialty food, we can do that at other times when already paid for food is not available.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the mini-golf, corn hole and ropes course. The rollar coaster seemed pricey for what it was but kids enjoyed it. The slides and pools were packed with people and we preferred swimming in the Caribbean. We weren't there for the fitness center or spa so we didn't use them.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The Cryise director was stupendous- she led several entertainment shows and was witty, funny, warm and great at her job! The singers and dancers were very talented. Some musicians were outstanding, others okay. We loved the comedians! The ship offered multiple shows at different times. The game shows were hilarious and/or just plain fun. We enjoyed learning to make towel animals too.

Children's Programs

No kids or grandkids with us so we didn't participate

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff were attentive and nice.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It was a beautiful and well designed ship

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The storage under the bed and closet were excellent (sliding metal drawers in both would have been better). Bed was comfortable. It was very clean and had adequate lighting, plugs and charging ports

Ship tip

Arrange for parking or transportation in advance. If you don't get drink package, bring your own alcohol, soft drinks or drink packets

Ports of call

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We did a zip line excursion and nature walk. There doesn't appear much to do without an excursion

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

We did a snorkeling excursion that we booked that morning on line. There are pools and shops within walking distance and lots of taxis to nearby beaches. The snorkeling was great

Cozumel, Mexico

Beautiful beaches. We did a catamaran excursion with a large group that included swimming, snorkeling and lunch.

Disembarkation

Very organized and smooth. Our transportation bus had a small line compared to others
