Review summary

My aunt is 81 years old and wanted the family to get together and go on a cruise. So 27 of us got on board the Jubilee. It was a nice ship and we all enjoyed the experience. Communication was poor, especially trying to use the HUB. Kept on getting msg saying there is a BUG in the app and they are working on it. This resulted in all of us getting together not as often as we wanted to. I do think that the game DEAL OR NO DEAL is the BIGGEST RIP OFF CARNIVAL HAS. A TOTAL RIP OFF.

Totally different from Royal Caribbean ships. It is a nice ship.

Nice. but AC would shut off during middle of night disrupting our sleep.

Be prepared to wait a long time for a HOT and Cramped elevator.

Sorry your cruise wasn’t as good as you would have liked. We cruised on the Jubilee and loved it. We didn’t encounter any issues with the app. I guess it would suck if we did since you do kind of HAVE to use it. We didn’t do Deal or No Deal, but we did enjoy Family Feud a lot. Maybe give the Jubilee another chance!! :)

Appreciate your feedback. Other reviews have mentioned that the elevators are an issue on the new XL ships. Seems strange to me. Sorry the HUB was not always working for you. Glad you and your family were able to sail with your 81yo Grandmother. Even with the frustrations, it will be a wonderful memory.

You probably would have had a better time with much less people. We enjoy going with just the 2 of us ,not worrying what others want to do. The most we’ve had has been 4 of us or 6 and that was perfect. But with all those people you had you can’t even have dinner at the same table. You could always try a different cruiseline. We’ve been on 10 cruises, only one was Carnival. Cruising is the best vacation ever!!!
