Embarkation

We had priority boarding with our suite and purchased Faster To The Fun with our interior so we could all board together. Super quick!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We did Main Dining only once, it was fine. Service was fast and food was good. Steakhouse was great! The Teppanyaki was really fun and the food was pretty good, not as good as our local hibachi. Cucina for dinner was nice, especially since it’s included on Jubilee. Bonsai Sushi and Emerils were favorites though! All drink service was phenomenal. We didn’t go to the buffet.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Bingo was so fun!!! Pools were crowded during the day but we enjoyed them in the evening. The Bolt roller coaster was AWESOME! Putt putt, cornhole, ropes course and ping pong provides lots of entertainment. Water slides were never a long wait and were fun. My kids like cars games so we often found a booth tucked away and played and enjoyed music.

Entertainment

Shows were cool in the theater and in Grand Central! 80’s glow party was so fun!

Service and Staff

All staff were happy, accommodating and really work SO hard to give you a nice experience.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Jubilee is a beautiful ship. All areas we visited are still new feeling and so clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin was super nice, great layout for us. It never really cooled down like our last cabin did…that’s my only complaint. The size and cleanliness though were excellent.

Ship tip

Explore and enjoy this ship, especially if it’s your first time on an Excel class ship! There is so much to do that is included.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
Galveston is our home port, beautiful historic city. Don’t be afraid to come early and explore all this island has to offer.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We love Cozumel, don’t limit yourself to the commercial port!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
The Carnival port is pretty nice but can be very crowded. You really can just stay here and have a great day. Don’t be scared to venture out, though there’s not a ton to do it’s still an interesting and less touristy port.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Don’t be scared to leave the port area. Snorkel on West End is amazing!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were off the ship and in our car within minutes of them calling our section. We had priority debark and carried our luggage off.
