Review summary

Was great cruise, relax and enjoy… food, entertainment and atmosphere were all excellent

Embarkation

Dropped off by Uber at 10am for our check in time, ship was still being prepared but still on board in about 40 mins.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room was excellent, service was always timely and food was hot and tasty….in fact a couple of nights had to wait a few min if you wanted to see the waiter’s show…. Buffet for breakfast was good, with lots of variety… Main dining room port day breakfast and brunch was also very good Can’t ever complain about a Guys Burger, or the Blue Iguana for lunch

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots of things to do, from R&R and taking it slow, easy to going full speed and doing it all. Great selection of pools, sun and fun…explore the whole ship, you won’t be disappointed

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Can’t say enough about Kyndle Fire our cruise director, so much fun and such a funny dynamic personality. Keeps the fun rolling, whether in the theaters, on the Lido or if you run into her around the ship. Was on the Mardi Gras with her and she continues to impress. The shows in both the Jubilee theatre and the Grand Central area were very entertaining. The singers and dancers very talented and you could tell they very much enjoy performing…. Comedians were all very funny, quite a cross section of our world….the laughs were constant All the other entertainment, country singer in bar areas, band in Guys Pig and Anchor etc were all very good… nice to sit for awhile and enjoy a drink and relax

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As usual the staff was amazing!! Constantly spoken to by all, whether “Good Morning”, “Hello”, please get to know these wonderful individuals, ask them about themselves, where they are from, family, they so want to share. Pong our room steward was so great, always asking how our day was, along with keeping our room spotless, extra towels….looked forward to see his smiling face… Roland, our waiter each night and his crew of Alexander, Iwana went above and beyond. We never lacked for anything.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
As always crew keep the ship immaculate, sure it’s new but 6500 people are messy and you couldn’t tell. Areas spread out so you didn’t feel crowded, look forward to the 4th Excel class ship that was just ordered. Explore the whole ship it is filled with technology that makes your vacation so enjoyable…

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Balcony cabin, lots of room for 2, plenty of storage, closet space…great roomy shower and bathroom…lighting and usb ports all around

Ship tip

Explore the ship, see all you can, enjoy the entertainment, you won’t be disappointed…but also share with the staff and other passengers, you will be surprised with the friends you will make…
