The ship is big and there were 5700 plus guest and staff on board but it never felt crowded. Kendall Fire is a great cruise director. She has a personality and spirit that is great for the ship.

Embarkation

Despite there being a medical emergency on the previous cruise, everything moved quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We enjoyed exploring all the new options on the ship. i.e Big Shaq’s Chicken, Street Eats, etc.

Chef's Table

5 out of 5

The food was delicious as always and we dined with some very nice couples that kept us entertained.

Dining Room

5 out of 5

There’s so many food options we only ate in the Dining Room twice for dinner. I loved the new menu and the service was great. We were in and out in less than an hour one evening.

Big Chicken

5 out of 5

We tried for breakfast and lunch. We enjoyed both times. The chicken was tender and tasty.

Chibang!

5 out of 5

I originally thought this was odd to have a menu with Mexican and Chinese on it. Somehow it works. I chose Chinese and a Mexican entree for my dinner. It was delicious. The staff was really pleasant and helpful.

Street Eats

5 out of 5

You must try the food in this area. The menu items change daily. The portions are perfect for sampling all three stations of you like.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The Serenity area is very nice. The addition of the pool and seating area near the bar and salad bar is very relaxing.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the DJs. In order to see the stage shows get there early. The lines are long and there’s not much venue seating. Schedule your dinner well ahead of show time or after.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was very attentive and friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Loved the design. We took a few hours to go floor to explore each floor. It helped us learn where everything is located.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin and bathroom is smaller but it wasn’t uncomfortable. The addition of the enclosed glass shower was a plus. Our cabin steward came daily to clean our room. Our steward was friendly and we saw him daily which is contradictory of what others have commented.

Ship tip

Take some time to explore the ship to enjoy its beauty. Try different food, relax and don’t sweat the small stuff. i.e. long lines, missed ports, etc.

Ports of call

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
The new system to schedule your disembarkation time works well if you follow the instructions. We didn’t even wait long for an elevator to get to the 6th floor to leave. I thought it was very organized.
