Review summary

We took our six children ranging in age from 10 to 23. They all had fun doing their own thing. We found that the buffet dining was enough for the younger kids as they were happy with the selections and not having to wait for formal dining. We found it easier and cheaper to do shore excursions on our own. It took more research beforehand but we were ready and had a lot of fun. Would do it again for sure.

Flawless. We pre-registered so it went quickly.

Cabin / Stateroom

It worked out well for us. We are a family of 8 and the rooms met our expectations. The bunks were fine and it had a larger bed for me and my wife. We have a camper and it was similar to what we're used to. We would do it again.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

We visited the Queen Mary, the Aquarium and the shops along the shore. We enjoyed our time after we got off the ship.

Catalina Island, California

We enjoyed walking around the city. We shopped, walked along the beach and saw as much as we could. It felt like a small European island town.

Ensenada, Mexico

5 out of 5
We did the zip-lines, went to a nice restaurant, saw La Buffadora and walked along the beach. We rented a car at the port and drove ourselves everywhere and saved a lot of money. The zipline course was $22/person, the van we rented was just over $100 and eating at the restaurant was about $7/person. We did it all with an hour to spare.

Disembarkation

Very quick and efficient. Would recommend taking your bags off with you. It make disembarkation a breeze.
