Review summary

Will never go on here again this was the ugliest darkest ship the food was terrible, they had nothing on the TV but sports CNN, if you want sea food you have to pay, no onboard music except the last night, Overall a 1 1/2 start only because cruise director (Nono) made it enjoyable she needs to apply to another cruise line ASAP!

Wow we went and we had a fantastic time. Our family was never in the cabin or indoors unless we were sleeping or at a show. The DJ had everyone dancing on stage and at their tables. The food was good, not great, but we still had a blast. I was with good company so we all had FUN.

What other cruises have you done? Just thinking it might help others reading your reviews understand what you are comparing a three day cruise on an older small Carnival ship to. I have done this a few times and they have always had live music. We have attended a sailaway party and farewell party on ever sailing. You have to book an excursion to go to a beach! The shore excursions desk or talk about going ashore held in the theater (also rebroadcast on the tv) would have explained that. I've never actually shuffled through the channels on a stateroom tv so I can't verify anything there. I do eat fish, scallops and shrimp quite often onboard the two fantasy class ships that sail out of Long Beach and have never paid extra for it. Us locals tent to call the 3 day a "Booze Cruise"! Maybe a Princess or Norwegian sailing out of Long Beach (San Pedro) would be a better choice & if you enjoy beaches you could go down to Cabo or P.V. California and Baja are better for surfing than playing on the beach.

Go on a longer cruise. Then you would have a dress up night and have seafood for free. You can't tell anything on only a 3 day cruise. And hopefully you didn't go on a cruise to watch tv!
