Review summary
I didn't like the idea that the cruise director (Cam) was always trying to sell you something ever time he was updating you on the days current events.
I came to relax and NOT to be sold on Art and Jewelry or Clothes.
I was going to Cruise with Carnival to Alaska next spring but this did change mind!
Embarkation
2 out of 5
The Suite we had U89 had a pole next to the bed. There was nothing in the way for pic's that showed us this or I would have picked a different Suite. The carpets were stained and dirty. The bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. (Remember this is a suite and NOT a cheap inside cabin)!

Service and Staff

The wait staff was very good! When we boarded for lunch we had the pleasure of meeting Han's the Executive Chef for Carnival. He was very interested in my comments about the food and the cold bread and also the burnt bread too!

The public bathrooms on the ship were always dirty.

The Suite we had U89 had a pole next to the bed. You had to be very careful when you got out of bed as to not hit your head on the pole! There was nothing in the way for pic's that showed us this or I would have picked a different Suite. The carpets were stained and dirty. The bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. The Jacuzzi tub was dirty when we turned on the jets. Black mold and dirty foam came out. (Remember this is a Suite and NOT a cheap inside cabin)! You need to upgrade for the fastest WIFI or you have NO service at all! We DID NOT get what we paid for! Shame on Carnival!
Ship tip
DON'T! Upgrade to the 7 day Mexican Riviera cruise.
You will be much happier and the rooms are nicer too!
The best thing about Ensenada is a great French & Mexican restaurant called: El Rey Sol.
This is a must stop for lunch anytime you in Ensenada. It's about a short 5 blocks walk from the ship and it's well worth it! Try the Caesar Salad it's the best I've ever had anywhere in the world.
