Review summary

Carnival cruise was an awesome first cruise for us! Now I believe that cruise ships are the best way to vacation. We started dancing as soon as we got onboard! Catalina Island was boring and expensive though. Ensenada was awesome and fun on the other hand!

There are several winery tours offered by Carnival. There is also La Bufadora, very pretty to see. If you are adventurous & want to explore on your own, take a short walk to the community center right across the street from the port. It was built as a casino by Al Capone, lots of history. There is a really cool furniture store that use to be a hotel. Can't remember the name of it 🤦🏻‍♀️. And for lunch try El Charro, the best tortillas & rotisserie chicken around!!

Loved the Inspirational, have sailed on her many times doing the same itinerary you mentioned. Next time you go to Catalina rent a golf cart! Very fun, beautiful scenery
