Review summary
Will never go on the carnival inspiration boat ever again. Probably never cruise with carnival. Lost my wedding ring and yet jewelry shop had no male wedding rings to purchase. Great way to spend the anniversary...
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Getting in the boat was nice because we bought the fast for the fun so didn't have to wait at all! During our muster presentation they told us to leave all open beverages at our table and I had ordered a special anniversary package through the boat which included 2 etched wine glasses. We left it on our table and came back and it was gone. Guest service did replace it but it killed a good vibe.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Food was less than mediocre which was a let down because I thought that's what cruise lines are all
About. Pizza was good, burgers were decent, and the escargot on the last night was amazing but everything else in the middle was blah! Wife and I lost 5 lbs each on the cruise! Drink service across the board was incredibly slow!!! Like make 2 drinks per hour slow!!
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
This was the day at sea at 3 pm and they killed the
Music pretty much forced all off deck by building a big stage FOR THE NEXT CRUISE!! No music from 230 on super lame! Multiple times on the cruise 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, 9pm, 11pm... no clubs to dance no good dance music to be found!! Comedy was funny! Live shows employees looked like they truly lived what they were doing!
Entertainment
1 out of 5
Stage shows were awesome! Dj played the same crap all the time and was terrible. Comedy shows were great minus the last one.. he made that awkward for everyone I feel.
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
Guest service made my wife cry on our first day at sea! Unbelievably slow drink service like they didn't want people to drink! Spa tour was forced down our throats first day so we weren't going back for that!
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
Clean. But no shopping what so ever! Never saw any of the clubs being used! Main elevators were not working! Only one smoking section outside and when closed forced to smoke inside...!!!...
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was cute as big as needed! Shower floor was weird! Bed was comfortable other than to snuggle where the 2 beds met. Dang ice bucket kept soaking anything on our table
Ship tip
Don't be like me and be someone who doesn't drink because as long as your buzzed or drunk you pry won't notice how terrible the boat, service and food are.
We had a great time parasailing, tender boats took a long time to fill. This is when guest service told me my chef dinner was mandatory to wear slacks and closed toed shoes and to go back to port at 2pm and buy some because your boat had NO clothes for purchase
I perfectly understand this. If you were not on this particular ship, on this particular cruise, and with this particular jewelry shop - you never would have had a problem. I get it! Right!!!
some people will complain about anything. so you lost your ring what were you doing to lose it and why is it carnivals fault? get off on one of the ports and purchase a weeding band I'm sure you could find one in port
😂 That's pathetic!
I understand how upsetting it can be to lose your wedding ring, because my husband lost his when we to the river, years back. Was it the rivers fault?? No it was my husbands fault for wearing it out there. Don't blame Carnival for not accommodating your losses.
Seriously? It isn't Carnival's fault you lost your wedding ring. It's your fault. I have been on Carnival 2 of my 4 cruises and I don't remember seeing wedding rings in the shops that had jewelry. Frankly you ruined your own anniversary.
