Review summary

We had an excellent time. The worst part was me getting sick for two of the days on board, which was quite unfortunate but no fault of the cruise line. Having a television aboard and some decent tv channels as well as room service was a definite plus for that, otherwise it would've been far more miserable.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Very good, food was sometimes not very hot though

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools were fun, very crowded though and shut down the full last day of the cruise. Mini golf was also fun.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service and timely staff, attentive and always friendly, our steward was Inyoman and he did an excellent job checking up on us and cleaning.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship seemed always clean, the layout only somewhat confusing with the side lengths and rooms

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Very clean, a little cramped for sure, and we should've gotten a seaside window.

Ship tip

Take advantage of the main dining options.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

Catalina Island, California

Ensenada, Mexico

Not too bad, a little far from prime tourist spots, we did an excellent Baja canopy tours zip line excursion

Disembarkation

Very fast and effective

Nothing worse than being miserable on a cruise, EXCEPT, being sick and miserable. Sorry. Glad cruise was still overall positive.
