Review summary

Big disappointment in excursion desk. Hummer tour cancelled but didn't know till I called for tickets. Second day again excursion tickets didn't arrive and had to go talk with them again to get tickets. Really hard to hear anything Can't hear with music playing to talk with them at desk and on phone it is even worse. Last morning no statement arrived then I couldn't get final bill until I called repeatedly. Excursion desk needs a lot of help.

Embarkation had a very long Delay with Coast guard inspection. Two hour delay is Really hard for older people to stand even though we were FTTF. All was Ok when the horn blew and vacation began :)

Abigail in MDR, thank you for your sweet smile and the "Mary Mary" jokes :). The last night dining room show is terrific and sweet! Thank you servers for your kindness & for choosing my kid to participate 👍 In the dance family night show. MUCH APPRECIATED!!

Loved Wejia aka China in Jewelry store💞 Wejia your name is unique and so are you! Keep that considerate service heart :) Thank you for the arcade. It is small but perfect for a little special fun time with kids. We remember those few moments of Kid time and are glad we stopped in there.

Entertainment

The shows were really good. My only issue was family shows shouldn't include a musical strip dance number. The pulloff pants to black underwear, song and gestures is not PG family friendly. The comedian was hilarious 😂

Older kids stayed with us and didn't go to children's programs.

Ship is older and ready for an update. it is clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin isn't as small as you think. Keep floor clean and use cabinets it works well if organized the body wash is good but we can't figure out why there is shampoo and no conditioner. 🤔

Ship tip

Get seat, food & drink before muster. When muster begins all service stations are closed. Could NOT hear any of the drill. Guy Féria at closed hamburger station was very loud on tv. Got to fix that. We asked four different times and no one fixed it. Good thing we didn't need the muster! 😏😳🙄

Embarking and disembarked here. It was organized for us and good signage to find our areas. Staff assistant was great helping us find our areas. Parking is good here too.

Catalina Island, California

Wear hat and sunglasses. Take sunscreen. Even if it is cool the sun is sharp on Island. Take water bottle if you don't like chlorine water.

Ensenada, Mexico

We did blow hole tour. It is long and bus ride is an hour. For the time we could of done a lot of stuff in town. Don't even sip the water there, Take water bottle or buy one in port. Small bills for cash, hat and sunglasses are needed. Need good shoes since All Walking surfaces are uneven. Take large canvas bag or tote for shopping. Have a passport, much easier for returning.

Disembarkation

Easier to carry luggage off. I saw people waiting for luggage and we kept walking, didn't need to wait for ours to show up at last checkpoint.

I had the same experience -- excursion desk and customer service desk are in a very small area with a bar. In the evenings they have a dj with dancing. You have to write everything on paper because of the load noise. Unable to talk over the music--- felt sorry for the girls at customer services.

Biggest surprise is 'loud music'. They talk to people all day. If the background music is that bothersome, I am surprised there are not more complaints.
