Review summary

While this was my first cruise it lived up to many expectations and fell short on several. Food, stateroom, people were great. Not a lot to do on the day at sea. Ensenada is not that great, but would have loved to spend more time in Catalina. Dining room was not fun because of table assignment. The buffet was good and wish the choices had been better as the outdoor grills were always crowded and the weather was not great.

open seating should have been available. unless you chose a specific time to eat.

next time; go to dining room on boarding day. you can check out seating and ask for changes if needed. we have even changed during the cruise. kids and I enjoy just us, so a big table isn't always the best solution for us. carnival always has done their best to accommodate our requests. hope you check out the fall pricing and go again soon. ;-)
