Review summary
we enjoyed the cruise but were surprised on how small our cabin for 3 was.
Thought we should have been warned on the cost of drinks; we would have been better prepared if we knew the cost. Shocked we had to purchase a lanyard for the room key. Otherwise, the ship was clean and the staff was very friendly
Embarkation
5 out of 5

Ship tip
we enjoyed the trip, but wish the tour of the bridge and ship was a little less pricey.
I found too many hidden costs, like a lanyard for your key which you needed everywhere.
We did an excursion but it was not a Carnival one, it was a scavenger hunt with a golf cart.
We took two different tenders, my husband took an earlier one and it took over 45 minutes to get back on the ship for him.
I took one 30 minutes after him and returned to the ship 30 minutes before him.
We did an excursion and enjoyed the wine tour. My husband and son, did the dune-buggy. We enjoyed them but when walking thru town shops there were too many children and women begging. it was not enjoyable.
fubwit49.yahoo.com...you can buy ahead of time or get free in casino. It is to hold your key to your cabin which is also the sign & sail card used as money.
Carnival cabins are some of the biggest in the industry. Lanyards are free in the casino, but they are cheap ones. Anything you were shocked by is easily researched before even booking or going.
