Review summary

I have been on Royal Carribean cruise line before Carnival. The service staff was not as friendly and didn't know where anything was. They were just as lost as we were. I believe that because the gratuity is automatically added they don't feel that they have to be of service since they are gauranteed  a tip. I don;t like that you charge gratuity even for a child Really?? I will not be using Carnival Cruise line in the future. All the adult show are late at night and you charge for the kids care for a 10 years old.

Remember, you can adjust gratuities accordingly at Guest Services or one of the kiosks.

To each their own, I'd take Carnival over Royal any day 🙌🏽 RC was ok.

Pretty sure that kid ate which means they were served. Pretty they slept in a bed and had access to the restroom which means they were cleaned up after. That's why they pay tips. Every line charges gratuity for kids over 2. You always have the option to remove and pay cash but it sounds like you would just short change them. They also have a pg rated show.

All gratuities on all ships are automatic now.

I have been on the Imagination many times & the staff has always been knowledgeable, helpful, & courteous. The ship is very easy to navigate

The kids club is free. However, late or after hours there is a charge, just like there would be for any hotel. You are not required to prepay tips, you should have made sure when you booked.

I see you in LV? I'm up there every week on business.

Gratuity is what is earned not given. If someone provides excellent service the should get a bigger gratuity. I couldn't agree with you more.
