Review summary

We consistently find Carnival cruises to be high value and very enjoyable experiences.  We have never been disappointed with any aspect of any Carnival ship:  accommodations, food choice and quality, entertainment, activities, decor, and staff.

A high point of this cruise was taking the exclusive BEHIND THE FUN tour with my son and son-in-law along with 11 other passengers.

The offered shore excursions were adequate.  Our City and Shopping Tour in Ensenada was not as interesting as expected, but the tour guide was excellent.

We have cruised on Carnival as well as Royal Caribbean, Princess, and Norwegian.  We will be happy to cruise on Carnival again in the future.

Bring a passive power strip as there is only 1 outlet in the stateroom. My son brought a power strip/surge protector and it was taken from his luggage before boarding with no explanation. I assume it was because there was circuitry that might have been seen as a security risk. Our cabin was clean and kept well-maintained.

Ship tip

Fully explore the ship; there's lots to see and do. Take the BEHIND THE FUN tour if possible.
