Review summary
Check-in went very smoothly and we were on the ship in no time. Personnel all very friendly. Great service by the room steward. Dining room service was really slow - not because the waiter wasn't good but simply because he had far too many tables to serve. Although, as usual, there was no shortage of people selling drinks.
Food was very good. A shame about the service. The ship was easy to get around, although it is looking very dated. Cabin was fine. The excursions we booked through Carnival were great fun. My husband and son went scuba diving in Catalina and my daughter & I took the hummer adventure. We all went wine tasting in Ensenada. All good value.
Disembarkation was a breeze as we used self-assist.
Although we usually choose 7 or 14 day cruises, this was a great way to spend 4 days and we will certainly do this again.
