Review summary
We decided on the 4 day to try cruising for the first time and can't get over how great it was. All but one of our children are grown so, finding a vacation where our youngest can be entertained without having to drag along an extra kid is always a bonus. Our daughter loved the Circle C club and stayed busy the whole time. We had done our research and took full advantage of everything Carnival had to offer. We went during college spring break week and while I have seen a lot of people call it a party booze cruise atmosphere, we had a great time. We are not big drinkers and found plenty to do and had the option of joining in on the high energy fun or finding a quiet place. I enjoyed all the young people. The staff is great and we will definitely cruise again.
Best Advice:
Buy the Faster to the Fun (makes embark and debark a breeze), if you don't want to do all the excursions, port days are quiet on the ship. Read the chat rooms sites for great tips to make the most of your trip. Make sure you read the daily fun times and tear off the schedule for the day. A highlighter will help you take full advantage of the activities and schedule.
